Supporting You Through Pregnancy

Since your comfort is a top priority, I offer a free consultation.  This is a time for you to interview me and make sure that I'll be a good fit for your birth.  In this session we will discuss your hopes for your baby's birth and you may ask any and all questions of me.  We can meet over zoom, in a cafe, a park, or in the comfort of your own home.

Services include 2-3 in-home prenatal visits.  Each visit, will revolve around your individual needs. We will discuss your birth plan, your fears, stages of labor, comfort measures, how your birth partner can be an active participant in your birth, and more. It is personalized and one on one birth education!

I will be available to answer any questions that you may have via phone call or text message for the duration of your pregnancy and postpartum journey. 

Beginning at 37 weeks, I will be on call for your labor at any time of day or night.

Once your labor has begun, we will determine together when is the best time for me to arrive. Whether you choose to deliver at home, birth center, or hospital, I will remain with you until you feel settled after your baby arrives (typically 1-2 hours). My goal is to help you have the best birth possible physically, mentally, and emotionally.

After the incredible arrival of your baby, you will begin a whole new, transformative journey into motherhood. Included in my care is one postpartum visit. This typically takes place within the first week after birth. I will help with breastfeeding questions, talk about physical healing, and discuss mental and emotional needs. 

Here in San Diego we have so many wonderful military families, many of whom do not have their extended family nearby.  I love giving support to these families and offer a 10% discount for their sacrifice and service to our country.
